We aim to collect all the laws and legal documents that are issued by the National People's Congress.

The National People's Congress (NPC) is the highest organ of state power. Its permanent body is the Standing Committee of the NPC.

The NPC and its Standing Committee exercise the legislative power of the State.

Among the powers of NPC, the most important ones are as follows:

(1) to amend the Constitution;

(2) to enact and amend basic laws governing criminal offences, civil affairs, the State organs and other matters;

(3) to elect the President and the Vice-President;

(4) to decide on the choice of the Premier of the State Council upon nomination by the President;

(5) to elect the Chairman of the Central Military Commission 

(6) to elect of Minister of the State Committee of Supervisory;

(7) to elect the President of the Supreme People's Court;

(8) to elect the Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
