The answer is sixteen. 

Under the Minors Protection Law of China, no organization or individual may hire any minor under the age of sixteen, except as otherwise provided for by the State.

In accordance with the Labor Law of China, employers are prohibited from recruiting minors under the age of 16. When recruiting minors under the age of 16, entities of literature and art, physical sports and special arts and crafts must observe relevant regulations of the State and guarantee their rights to compulsory education.
