In China, Who Has the Right to Dispose the Estates?

There are two ways to determine the administrator of the estate:

1) Generally, the estate shall be handled by the successors, donee-by-will, the executor of the will and other people.

2) Where there is no successor or where all of the successors disclaim inheritance, the civil affairs department or the villagers’ committee in the place where the decedent was domiciled at the time of his death shall serve as the administrator.
